Checking in after a rough weekend! The dreadful headlines in the news were exhausing, as were the various actions that followed. The slight panic I felt when I realized that my car wasn't going to get me to the craft fair. The as-of-yet uncertainty of what to do about it. Piling things into boxes and taking them onto the bus. Trying to appear normal instead of the anxious pile of nerves smiling to all of the strangers (and not so strangers!) who happened by. Thanks for coming out, by the way! Knowing I'm going back to work, training and waiting for inspections, kind of sucks. But I drew a robin and a random ruffle thing in my sketchbook for no good reason, just to keep a connection going until the next thing, whatever that may be.
Milo's days are routine, with no where in particular to go and nothing in particular to do. He misses sunshine to warm him, and plant smells to take in. He pulls out his hair every fall/winter. Can't say I blame him.
I just felt like drawing a ruffle.
(What DOES a person do when their car doesn't start?)
