This is likely to be the last inktober video before the final flip through. I've enjoyed having this little project with the strict theme. I still can't believe I missed that one day. Perhaps it's part of the anxiety peak that happened, but I literally forgot about inktober's existence that day. Didn't put it off, didn't decide to skip it, I just completely spaced it. How annoying.
Also there's a cake at the end of the video. I was trying that shiny glaze that everyone is doing on buzzfeed, and the pouring was pretty much the only enjoyable part of the experience. There was definitely a woeful "Why Can't I Ever Make White Chocolate Ganache" breakdown in the kitchen the night prior to filming. Which led me to do a late run to the store for crappy buttercream frosting. Which led to not being able to smooth the cake out enough for the final pour to look any good at all.
Pretty much all cake experiences are like this, I don't know why I keep trying.
In other news, I finished the 8x8" version of "Opah, Disconnected" and it is now available for purchase on Etsy. I've even already scanned it to put on clothing and swag on Redbubble. These fish are so dang charming, and by affiliation, so will you! Apparently Redbubble is finally scheming to come out with a line of clocks and I'm weirdly excited about that.
