Last weekend was very art-heavy, which meant we were hanging around an art store for a couple of days. Day one I caved and purchased some Stonehenge paper, even though the price has gone up, which is a pain when there's no profit built into the journals I make. Day two, I discovered they were selling large packs of equal-weight printmaking paper and jumped on it. I currently stock enough supplies to build... well... A LOT OF BOOKS! Woo!
This may be the first journal in which I use prints of finished artwork on the front and it feels a little weird to me. Too familiar, maybe. Looks great though. The sketchbook pages can be fun to use as covers, but most of the time they have noticeable white backgrounds, and all of that white is starting to bore me.
This is betta.
