I chose a song randomly for the beach vlog part and it turned out to be so hilariously dramatic, but let's go with it. Ahhh the beach. Okay, it's not actually my favourite place. To be honest, the local beach tends to bore me. The open space is nice! The walk through town is nice. But the beach itself is so sad in its relative lifelessness. Go to a beach on Vancouver island and you'll find sand dollars, piles of tiny crabs, phosphorescent diatoms, and sea birds. Go to White Rock and you'll find seagulls and human crowds. The urban lake is better - it has dragonflies.
We saw one crab and one heron, which is more action than usual. The fish and chips was good. Ice cream was excellent. Weather was perfect. Billionaire Central is a fun place to people watch, too! We saw a prismatic pink dune buggy which made me consider spray painting my bicycle. Wouldn't that be neat? A sparkly bicycle?? Someone stop me. I'm totally serious by the way. My birthday is in a week and I'm extremely tempted.
The journal page is kind of weird and a bit lazy (one of those days where I'm sleepy and just DON'T want to work for any amount of time). She's possessing the blackbirds and controlling their actions. The blackbirds are completely blameless for their slacking off and what-not. It's not like they're smart enough to make their own decisions, right? It's obvious that the female human is corrupting them.
Nevermind! Just working out some grievances in the art journal. That's what it's for, after all!
