Papers and cover stock is slowly dwindling into nothing... Making art journals/sketchbooks for sale is a tricky business. The store where I used to get the material for the covers has closed forever. The papers inside were a lucky clearance find, and these have been selling somewhat steadily. You know how artists sometimes feel afraid that every good piece of art they create may be their last? That's how I feel about these journals, you know, except it's slightly more rational. Creativity doesn't run out, but what if I never find another fantastic paper sale like that again? I may have sold just about sixty of these since I started! :O I also completed a second colouring booklet! This one is fishes themed! This booklet was just a bit more challenging than I expected. I guess I didn't photograph or scan as many paintings as I thought I'd done? As usual, I have a black line version and a grey line version.
All the fun stuff is already put up in the shop! Comments are closed.
